Marine Corps Fundraiser

Story submitted by Ray Villegas

Today is the Marine Corps Committee Fundraiser (May 4, 2012) at the Veterans Memorial Building, (East Wing Area) aka American Legion Hall Merced.

The funds raised will be applied to our 237 birthday in November and a cancer patient.

The fundraiser is being put on by our local Marines of our birthday committee, to be more specific, Alex Flores, Chairman and Dennis Carlson, Treasurer. Not to forget the volunteers, Sonny & Sally, Jessica, Lupe, etc. without our hard charging volunteers our workload would be overwhelming.
If your interested in helping, call Alex 209-658-4878 or just go down to the Hall. Time of serving is 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and again at 4:00 - 8:00, you can dine in or take out. The cost is $8.00 donation and the lunch/dinner is carnitas with rice and beans.
